Professional Jewelry Cleaning Goes Beyond the Sparkle

Everyday wear leaves behind oils, lotions, soap and buildup that can dull even the brightest diamonds and gemstones.

Professional cleaning removes this buildup and helps restore the natural beauty of your jewelry. While your piece is in our hands, we also inspect the stones, prongs, settings and overall condition, so we can catch potential issues before they become bigger repairs.

Professional Cleaning

We use professional equipment and techniques to remove oils, lotions, dirt and buildup that accumulate through everyday wear.

Jewelry Inspection

Cleaning gives us a clear look at your jewelry so we can check stones, setting, prongs and other areas for signs of wear.

Polishing & Finishing

When appropriate, polishing and additional finishing services can help remove surface wear and restore the appearance of your jewelry.

OUR PROCESS

What Happens When We Clean Your Jewelry?

We begin by looking over your jewelry before cleaning it. Different metals, gemstones and finishes can require different care, so not every piece should be treated the same way.

Once we determine the appropriate cleaning method, we remove accumulated buildup and inspect the piece. If we notice a loose stone, worn prong or another concern, we'll let you know before additional work is performed.

PRICING

How Much Does Jewelry Cleaning Cost?

A quick jewelry cleaning at Diamonds Rock is always complimentary! We'll give your jewelry a bath using our ultrasonic cleaner and steam to bring back its sparkle. If your piece needs a little more attention, we also offer professional polishing and rhodium plating to restore its finish. These refinishing services are quoted separately based on your jewelry, and we'll always discuss pricing with you before any work begins.

DOES YOUR JEWELRY NEED MORE THAN A CLEANING?

Sometimes Dirt Isn't the Only Problem

If your jewelry still looks dull after cleaning, the issue may be surface scratches, worn rhodium plating or years of wear rather than dirt.

That's why we inspect the entire piece. We'll tell you whether a professional cleaning is enough or whether polishing, plating or other repair work would make a bigger difference.

Common Questions About Jewelry Cleaning

How often should I have my jewelry professionally cleaned?

As often as you'd like! Stop in anytime and let us give your jewelry a bath. Our complimentary cleaning includes ultrasonic cleaning and steam to remove everyday dirt and buildup and bring back that beautiful sparkle. Whether you're getting ready for a girls' night out, date night, a special occasion, or just because your diamonds deserve a little attention, we're always happy to freshen them up!

Will professional cleaning damage my jewelry?

Professional cleaning is safe when the proper methods are used. Different gemstones, metals, and settings require different care, which is why we evaluate each piece before cleaning. Our experienced jewelers use the appropriate techniques to safely remove buildup while protecting your jewelry.

Can all jewelry be cleaned?

Yes, most jewelry can be professionally cleaned, but not every piece should be cleaned the same way. Certain gemstones, antique pieces, and delicate settings require specialized care. Our jewelers determine the safest and most effective cleaning method based on your jewelry's materials and condition.

Do you inspect my jewelry while you clean it?

Absolutely! Cleaning is the perfect opportunity to examine your jewelry more closely. We check for loose stones, worn prongs, weakened settings, and other signs of wear. If we notice anything that needs attention, we'll explain our findings and discuss any recommended repairs before additional work is performed.

Will cleaning remove scratches?

Professional cleaning removes dirt, oils, and buildup, but it does not remove scratches from metal. If your jewelry has surface scratches or signs of everyday wear, polishing and refinishing can often restore its original appearance. We can recommend the appropriate service to bring back its shine.
